Just Let Me Breathe

Just Let Me Breathe is the Rock CF Foundation’s annual premier rock and roll event. Started by Emily and her brother Jason in 2004, they were looking to spice up the cystic fibrosis fundraising world with a benefit rock concert featuring Detroit area bands. The 1st Annual Just Let Me Breathe show was a hit, sold out and quickly became the face of Rock CF.

Many of Detroit’s top bands such as Sponge, The Muggs, South Normal, Hellen, Shipwreck Union, Alex Winston, Grande Nationals, Bull Halsey, The Kingsnakes and Stolen Liberty have all help rock for cystic fibrosis. Rose Harting, a CF patient from the Bay Area showed Detroit how to rock at the 2008 JLMB show. Emily sat in on drums to help deliver a CF fueled set.

The Rock CF Foundation is planning to reach into the national music scene for the 2009 benefit show to really deliver the most successful Just Let Me Breathe yet.
